EXPO Somayeh PAKAR

Somayeh Pakar is an Iranian painter. She began her career in 2008 at the Zahedan Faculty of Fine Arts.
This summer she is exhibiting her paintings, drawings and inks at the cultural centre.

Description

Most of his works are glass paintings, using industrial colours. She is convinced that a painting is perceived by the eyes and the mind, but it shapes a world of feelings and stories. Her most recent works explore women’s concerns in societies and argue that the art of glass is a tangible testimony to the fragility of the status of women in these societies.
