She is also the author of a novel and a collection of photopoems. Before devoting herself entirely to art, Giandra was a lecturer and made engineers aware of the art of revealing the part of dream and wonder in technicality.
A decisive encounter in his life was his friendship with the Green Lake of Passy. This lake became a source of inspiration and many life lessons. Transformed by this intimate relationship, she became Ambassador of Savoie Mont-Blanc, in recognition of her work documenting mountain lakes.
