Eric d'Hulst's work is strongly influenced by the spirit of Pop Art and rock, with favorite themes such as China, the gaze of women and various forms of revolution.

Description

He uses bright, sometimes aggressive, colors to tell stories that invite the viewer to explore beyond the canvas's surface. Self-taught, he enjoys experimenting with colors and shapes, enriching his abstract work without being locked into a repetitive style. He works primarily with acrylics and enjoys the creative process as a form of breathing and combat with the blank canvas.
