Description

Day 1: Departure Passy Plaine Joux then climb to Chalets de Platé. Then on to the Sales refuge via the Col de la Portette and the Alfred Wills refuge after the Pleureuse and Sauffaz waterfalls. Overnight at the Alfred Wills hut. 7h30 walking, 18km, 1600 EG, 1100 EL.
Day 2: Return to Plaine Joux via Lac d'Anterne then Les Argentières or the 4x4 trail or Lac de Pormenaz. 4h30 walking, 12km, 500 EG, 100 EL.

In winter, access to the Tour des Fiz is not recommended (high-level ski mountaineering only).
