Description
Day 1: Departure Passy Plaine Joux then climb to Chalets de Platé. Then on to the Refuge de Sales via the Col de la Portette. Overnight stay at Refuge de Sales. 6h walking, 11km, 1150 D+, 650 D-.
Day 2: From Sales, reach the Alfred Wills refuge after the La Pleureuse and Sauffaz waterfalls. Overnight at the Alfred Wills hut. 2h30 walking, 7km, 380 D+, 500 D-.
Day 3: Return to Plaine Joux via Lac d'Anterne then Les Argentières or the 4x4 trail or Lac de Pormenaz. 4h30 walking, 12km, 620 D+, 1100 D-
